FREE summer meals for kids!! ESSD staff and volunteers are hard at work to provide meals for kids 18 and under. If you would like to participate please follow the link provided to sign up: https://ss.ly/OKaFdz "The Federal Government is allowing rural schools, such as Eureka Springs, to provide non-congregate, free meals to children under the age of 18. "Non-congregate" means that we can provide up to 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches, each week during the summer. ANY child aged 18 and under qualifies, even if they don't attend a public school. "

The elementary library has a new look! Our school voted to purchase new seating for the library with our award funds for being in the top 6-10% in state academic achievement. The students love this comfortable, flexible seating!

Please bring the following required documents with you to registration.
1. Completed student registration forms
Forms are available in the Elementary Office
2. Proof of age and legal guardianship
Original birth certificate with official raised seal (we will copy)
3. Up to date immunization record
Immunizations appointment date: ____________
Must be completed by 1st day of school
4. Copy of child’s Social Security card
5. Proof of Residency (renting or owning)
Current mortgage statement
Current Carroll County property tax statement
Current lease or rental agreement with address of the lease property
Current piece of official mail (bank statement, pay stub, medical, etc..)
6. Parent/Guardian Valid Photo I.D. (one of the following)
Driver’s license or state/issued I.D. card
7. Other Documents if applicable
Custody documents – must be signed and court stamped
8. Current physical examination completed by your family physician.

Registration is not complete until all required documents are submitted.
Families are encouraged to register their incoming kindergarten student as soon as possible.
To be eligible for Kindergarten starting August 2024, children must be 5 years old on or before August 1st 2024 and live in the Eureka Springs School District
NOTE: AR Code 6-18-207 states that students may enter kindergarten in the public schools of this state if they will attain the age of five (5) years on or before August 1 of the year in which they are seeking initial enrollment.

ESES LITTLE FREE LIBRARY! A Little Free Library is a free book-sharing box where anyone may take a book or share a book. You don't have to share a book in order to take one. You can always take a book and then bring it back when you are done reading it. Ours has been built in memory of Patty Brill, our longtime school counselor. The first books offered in our Free Little Library were from her collection of books. It is open and available all the time and to everyone!
