ESES RED RIBBON WEEK starts Monday! We hope all our Scotties will join in on the fun as we celebrate HEALTHY choices!
ESES is excited to announce our community-wide shared reading event: ONE SCHOOL, ONE BOOK. We will announce our title at a special student assembly on Friday! Every family will receive a copy of the book along with an introduction letter asking families to read the book together at home over the next few weeks. We are excited that families will be making time together to participate in this special activity!
Elementary students + teachers = learning together! Reading Coach Colleen Reyes from American Reading Company modeled small group instruction for teachers this week. All students participate in groups for more individualized instruction as part of our reading curriculum. Thank you, Ms. Reyes, for helping us improve teaching and learning!
We had a record number of Scotties LEVEL UP in reading this week! The line to the vending machine was filled with excitement as students selected books and rang the bell in celebration of reaching their goals!
Hooray, it's almost time for Red Ribbon Week at the Elementary School! Our Scotties can't wait to celebrate being healthy!

ESES is hosting Student-Parent-Teacher Conferences on October 16 & 17 from 3:30 to 6:00 pm. (by appointment). Please note that students are included and are strongly encouraged to attend along with their parents. Plan some extra time to visit the Book Fair while you are here!

Our EAST Student Champions just wrapped up a productive Zoom session with EAST staff, diving into their roles as leaders in their programs! 💻✨ They’re ready to take on exciting responsibilities: writing project profiles, gathering community partner contacts, and inspiring their peers to make a positive impact. We’re so proud of these dedicated students for stepping up to lead and make a difference! 💪💙
