This week, ESES is celebrating Read Across America Week with fun literacy activities each day. Tomorrow, March 2, is Dr. Seuss's Birthday! Students will have a special Dr. Seuss-themed lunch. Do you like green (deviled) eggs and ham?
Help us instill a love of reading! Reading books aloud to children stimulates their imagination and expands their understanding of the world. It helps them develop language and listening skills and prepares them to understand the written word.
This message is for ESES families:

In addition, the game against Lavaca will air tonight on 100.9FM KESA, with our student Conner Henson calling the game for the Highlanders. Here is a link to listen online as well!

Happy Valentine's Day from Eureka Springs Elementary!
This week, we celebrate our amazing school counselors! Thank you, Mrs. Hyatt and Mrs. Patty, for helping our students to dream big!
The book that Eureka Springs Elementary has chosen to read is called "A Boy Called Bat". We hope that you will share reading this book with your entire family.
However, we also know that some nights are extremely busy so we will be sending out an audio file for you to listen to instead of reading it aloud. This way you can listen to it in the car or while fixing dinner. We will be testing your students knowledge of the reading the following day. We will send these recordings via Seesaw.
Elementary Families: Our ONE SCHOOL, ONE BOOK book reveal is TODAY! What will we be reading? Check with your student this afternoon. Information and books will be sent home, as well as literacy activities.
