Follow the fold as the guys and dolls of the ESHS choir/drama troupe bring one of the most popular Broadway musicals of all time to the Eureka Springs High School Auditorium! The hour-and-a-half junior version of Guys & Dolls is full of fun, song, and dance.

These three talented educators (Carrie Freeman, Chrys McClung and Danielle Purvis) will be traveling with Elementary Principal Clare Haozous to present at the National Model Schools Conference in Orlando this June. The team was selected to present two sessions on positive school culture. We are proud of our elementary school team for being recognized at the national level!
The Eureka Springs Rotary Student of the month for February 2024 is Brandessa Armer. Brandessa is the daughter of Jason and Angie Armer. She is a senior at Eureka Springs Hish school where she maintains a 3.1 GPA. Brandessa is a member of National Honor Society and Renaissance and plays basketball and soccer. She has been Captain of the Basketball and Soccer teams. Brandessa has helped with community events including the Angel Tree Project and working the CS Bank parking lots. She is currently employed at Judge Roy Beans Old Time Photos. Brandessa enjoys fishing, hunting and spending time with family and friends. She enjoys swimming and going on adventures. Following graduation, Brandessa plans to attend North Arkansas Community College and take paramedic classes.
Everybody wants to be a cat! Or at least our Singing Scotties do! Join the talented 4th grade Eureka Springs Elementary choir for ARISTOCATS KIDS! on April 9th at the high school auditorium. This free performance will be at 6:00 PM.
Eureka Springs High School has two state finalists for the Arts Across Arkansas competition. On March 30th, these two students have the opportunity to win $250 to $1000. In the literary arts category, the first four engaging chapters of Laynee DeJarnette’s story titled “Red Coat” is in the running…and in the photography category, Chasia Cooper’s alluring image titled “Beyond the Lines” has been chosen as a finalist. If you see these two be sure to congratulate them!

Scottie Families: ARKANSAS READS ONE BOOK starts tonight! We will read chapters 1 and 2 this evening. You may follow along with the recording if you prefer! Mrs. Danielle is this evening's reader. :) The recording is available on Seesaw.
Third and Fourth Grade students will take the state ATLAS Writing Assessment on Tuesday, March 5. How Parents Can Help:
+Make sure your child gets plenty of sleep the night before the test +
has breakfast on the morning of the test + goes to school on the day of a test
+ does not have any out-of-school appointments on the day of a test
+ knows you think he/she will do well on the tests
+knows you understand the test is important.
We are excited to begin our new book, Judy Moody Was in a Mood! Due to third and fourth grade ATLAS testing tomorrow, we will start reading tomorrow night! Look for a copy of the book coming home today or tomorrow!
ATLAS writing exams for 9th & 10th students are on Tuesday, March 5, 2024. Students, please charge your laptops and get a good night's rest Monday evening. We'll see you in testing!
