A HUGE thank you to Eureka Springs Harley Davidson, Pig Trail Harley Davidson, Charlie Fagan at Harley Davidson Flea Market, Cat House and numerous donors for an incredible weekend! Our Highlander Soccer, Volleyball and Trap Shooting Teams worked a booth at Pine Mountain grilling for bikers and manning a bike wash. Through their generosity and fundraising, they have given these teams over $9,000!! Funds will be used for student athletic programs throughout the upcoming seasons. THANK YOU!!! 🏍️💨
High school and middle school yearbooks will be available for pick-up next Tuesday and Wednesday (5/30 & 5/31) from 9AM-2PM. Middle school orders can be picked up at the middle school front office, and high school yearbooks at the high school front office. Lifetouch will not be delivering the yearbook for the middle school and high school until next week. An announcement will be made for when they will be available for pick-up at your student's respective campus (front office). Congratulations to seniors Brian Vaquera and Joseph Yarberry who signed letters of intent with future employers on Tuesday, April 25th. Both students attended the Connect 4 technical education program, which is a joint effort between Berryville, Eureka Springs, and Green Forest School Districts. Our new Highlander Way trail sign looks great! April is sure to provide lots of beautiful days for a walk or bike ride on the 1/2 mile trail. It starts from the middle school parking lot, on the right side of the admin road (although it could be walked/ridden in either direction). Trail is open for use every day during daylight hours. Please keep an eye out for other trail users and always ride within your skill level.
The Eureka Springs School District participates in school choice according to the Arkansas Public School Choice Act of 2015. The application deadline for out of district students who would like to enroll at Eureka Springs School District for the 2023-2024 school year is May 1, 2023. No school on March 17 for Parent-Teacher conferences and March 20-24 for Spring Break!
Thank you to all of the volunteers who came out to help us build 20 new bikes for the Middle School. The bikes came to us courtesy of Outride and Northwest Arkansas Trailblazers and will be used to teach 7th and 8th graders how to ride bikes as part of the P.E. program.
