Eureka Springs Elementary Scottie Families,
In the next few weeks you will receive an "Update Information" registration packet in the mail for your returning student. This will include paperwork to fill out for the upcoming school year and your child's homeroom teacher. Please fill out all these forms and bring them with you to our Back-to-School Open House on August 10th from 3:00-5:00. Mark your calendar and plan to join us to turn in paperwork, ask questions and meet your child's teacher and support staff. There will be fun, friends, and refreshments. See you then!

We also welcome Mr. Evans to the middle and high school! He will be teaching music and direct the high school band. We're excited to have you in Eureka!!
"Cody Evans grew up in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. As a student of Broken Arrow High School, Mr. Evans was a member of the competitive marching band and the wind ensemble, with performances in the Midwest International Band and Orchestra clinic and Bands of America Grand National Championships. After graduating in 2016, Mr. Evans went to Tulsa Community College and in the summer of 2017 marched with the Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps. In 2018 Mr. Evans transferred to University of Tulsa and graduated in the spring of 2021. Mr. Evans took on his first position as assistant band director for Perry Public Schools in Perry, Oklahoma. Mr. Evans has an older sister with two kids who still lives in Broken Arrow, however his parents just recently moved to Eureka Springs. He also has two cats. In his free time he enjoys working on his cars, and gardening."
Joining us this year at the middle and high school is Mr. McKee! He will be teaching PE and coaching volleyball and track! We are excited to welcome him to the district!! 🏐🏃🏻
"Greetings! My name is Christopher McKee. After living in over 10 states, I have been a resident of Arkansas since 2021. I am excited to be a part of the community and the Eureka Springs School District. I like to play all sports and I have a great passion for the outdoors. I try my best to be versatile and experienced in as many hobbies/activities as possible. I hope to have a positive impact and make physical activity enjoyable for all the students."
Justin Saab is no stranger to the high school! He is an ESHS graduate and has worked with our Special Education Dept. already! We are excited for his new role!
"Hello everyone! My name is Justin Saab, and I am going to be the High School Life Skills teacher this coming school year. Ever since my high school years at Eureka Springs School District, I have wanted to become a teacher, and I’m quite excited at the opportunity to become one. I have two years in education working as both a Paraprofessional and an ECDS. I spend my free time either writing or with family and friends, and I am excited for the coming school year!"

"Hello! I'm Mason Cox and am truly excited to be teaching at Eureka Springs High School. I currently have three years of experience teaching high school and two years teaching college. You may remember me from making your coffee at Brews or selling Vinyl at our local record store, Mojo's! I have gotten to know and love the community of Eureka Springs throughout this past year. My interests (other than math) include gaming, anime, reading, hiking, golfing, and cooking."
