Eureka Springs Elementary Scottie Families, In the next few weeks you will receive an "Update Information" registration packet in the mail for your returning student. This will include paperwork to fill out for the upcoming school year and your child's homeroom teacher. Please fill out all these forms and bring them with you to our Back-to-School Open House on August 13th from 3:00-5:00. Mark your calendar and plan to join us to turn in paperwork, ask questions and meet your child's teacher and support staff. There will be fun, friends, and refreshments. See you then!

We are proud of our elementary school team who presented at the National Model Schools Conference last week in Orlando. The team conducted two sessions on creating a positive school culture.

Please help us 'officially' welcome Anna McIntyre to the district! Anna joined us last spring and will start her full year in August serving as our K-6 School Counselor! Here's more about Mrs. Anna! - What inspired you to join our team? Coming from a small town in Southwest Missouri, I've always known I wanted to work in a smaller school district that values the individual and fosters a strong community. Eureka Springs is an excellent illustration of this and was one of the main factors that inspired me to join the ESSD team. When the opportunity to apply for the K-6 school counselor position arose, I felt I couldn’t pass it up. I am so excited to be a part of the ESSD team! - What are you most excited about in your new role? What excites me the most is getting to know the students, helping them overcome social and emotional obstacles, offering them assistance, and creating a welcoming and safe school atmosphere. - What are your hobbies or interests outside of work? Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, outdoors, going on hikes, and camping. - What do you enjoy most about working in this industry? I am driven as a school counselor by the chance to positively impact students’ lives and promote their academic and overall well-being. I enjoy the rewarding fulfillment of watching students flourish, forming trusting relationships with them, and sharing in their academic and personal growth. - One fun fact! When my husband and I were in college, we took many day trips to Eureka Springs and always jokingly talked about how we could work in the Eureka Springs School District, and now that constant conversation has become our reality.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband, 3 boys, and our dog. I also enjoy reading, drawing, and video games. - What do you enjoy most about working in this industry?
