🎉 Fun Fact: Labor Day was first celebrated on September 5, 1882, in New York City! It became a national holiday in 1894 to honor the contributions of American workers. 👷♀️👨🏭
In honor of Labor Day, there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, September 2nd. Enjoy your well-deserved break! 😊
Safety is our top priority in the district. Today, a team of educators and staff members were trained as ‘trainers’ for Project ADAM and Stop the Bleed. These programs help our schools become ‘Heart Safe’ and prepare staff to act as initial responders in case of an accident.
In the coming weeks, these staff members will train the entire district to ensure everyone is certified and ready to respond. While we hope we never have to use these techniques, we're committed to being prepared.

Elementary Parents: Please help us maintain student safety by following drop-off and pick-up procedures. Students should be dropped off and picked up in designated loading areas only. If you prefer to walk your child to the door in the mornings, please park across the street or along the front sidewalk. You must escort your child to the door. In the afternoons, please stay in your vehicle. We will bring your child to you. We appreciate your help in keeping all students safe during these busy times of day!
We caught great things happening in the buildings today! 🎉 We’re big fans of fun lessons, collaborative learning, and, of course, BOOKS! 📚
